So you have a new domain and want to know where to get started as far as building up links go…?
Well my two recommendations:
1. You can either guestbook spam about 20 links to your new domain with 1 particular keyword.
(Example)
If your domain is www.dudedude.com you would want to guestbook spam “dude dude” as the anchor text.

2. You can create splogs, however don’t overdue splogs, also never use a splog as your main linking building method.
Use splogs to get your feet off the ground.

Go to 5 free blog services:
About.com did the work for you and here is the top blogs online: http://familyinternet.about.com/od/sharingonline/tp/bloghosting.htm
write up some nice content that has your keywords you want to rank for. Within the content turn all your keywords into anchor text and copy paste source into the free blogs.
Now you’re not done yet, now you need to guestbook spam these splogs, send 50 links to each splog. BINGO sit back and wait for your site to build up some age.

Now these two methods are for people that are just starting out or on a budget. I’m not saying you wont get banned if you use these methods, however its a cheap way to gain some links as well as help a new domain build some age and trust.
