Here are a few pictures from our trip to South Africa in December. It was honestly amazing there! We went to North Durban which is a lot like Santa Barbara, small city, except Durban South is a little more like LA big sky scrapers, fast drivers etc… It was a miracle we made it home for Christmas, we actually had to ditch our bags in London in order to make it home as I came down with the Flu (yeah the bad kind) in the airport at Durban. I turned to Cara and said “I dont feel to well”, sure enough I needed those little white bags in the seat. So we stayed in the Intercontinental at the Joberg airport which wasn’t cheap $500/night our only choice. It was now December 24th in South Africa and 24hours from home that is if we even can get a flight in London >LAX. The flight from Joberg > London I took care of as I had to pay a fee. We made it to London, now it’s December 25th, but still the 24th at home, and we don’t have a guaranteed ticket home! We got off the plane and we either had a chance to make it home and ditch our bags, or get our bags and spend Christmas in London (only flight leaving to LAX that day was 11am, we landed from Joberg at 10am and we still needed to get on stand by with the other 100 people), so me and Cara decided to ditch our bags in London. Long story “shorter” we made it home on the 25th and were able to spend my favorite day of the year with my family. This really nice lady who worked at the United Airlines ticket booth basically helped us out so much!!!

The new BMW 335 sedan with 300hp twin turbo is sweet! It looks like an average 4 door sedan but with a monster in the hood. I want one.
