Godaddy database hackable

Wednesday, January 31st, 2007

Been doing a little research looks like the Godaddy databse is openly hackable. This is a serious problem for people that use godaddy to buy high-end domain names they plan on using for big ideas. I never use Godaddy to purchase domain names for multiple reasons but this just made myself 100% confirmed to never purchase domains with Godaddy. Pardon myself if this is something some of you already know.
So back to what I was saying, how it works when you search for a domain name and actually purchase the domain name you get a confirmation email stating. Thank you for purchasing this domain name! 12 hours go by and you recieve an email from Godaddy stating, “Sorry the domain name you purchased is already taken”. So you think to yourself, “well i checked the whois and it said no one owned it, and godaddy said it was available”. Well you are right, when you searched for the domain no one owned the domain but in the process of you buying the domain someone snipered your domain from you.

This is very common on other forms like holding domains for loads of cash, however I was somewhat unaware of this form of domain snipering.

SEOERS being negative towards SEO and SEM

Tuesday, January 30th, 2007

I am hearing all this negative talk about seo in regards to being a dead market, and no more business. Well thats like saying to warren buffet insurance is dead, just give up. Well for people that believe the people that are saying SEO, SEM is dead, basically you are getting sucked into corporate America. Meaning get sucked into the lifestyle of a cubicle, having bad credit etc…. Stay postive to those people that believe this negative talk because i’ll tell you right now this is just the beginning. Have fun ;) !

How many hours daily do successful Online Marketers “PLAY”

Monday, January 22nd, 2007

Well I would say 10 - 16 hours daily if you plan on being Bill Gates of the SEO industry. It is a matter of what you can get done in a short period of time. I try and work anywhere from 8 - 16 hours daily depending on if I have new projects in the works. Working online isn’t a Job I would consider it a fun adventure where there is always something new and exciting. Who wouldnt want to work around a digital world these days? I Love “IT”!

Hosting companies that are shitty

Tuesday, January 9th, 2007

Why do some hosting companies have to make it soo difficult to contact them. No phone number, no contact us page. The whois data is private. They charge basically pennies for hosting like 4 dollars an account unlimited domains. Whatever I guess you get what you pay for.

Blogspot Easily Hackable

Monday, January 8th, 2007

If you plan on using blogspot blogs for blackhat, beware as its easily hackable using xss. You can do some more reasearch in google. I was never a fan of blogspot in fact the blogspot spammers I found really annoying as it was soo easy to host sites up it was like no email verification, host as many sites you wanted on one user id. It’s like google(blogspot) was setting up the easiest way for a small time seo spammer to create sites. Anyways main topic watch out for the new hack. Like 15 of my accounts at blogspot got hacked old old accounts. Maybe this happend a while ago, I stopped using blogspot once everyone and their grandma started using it as a whitelisted domain.

PEACE!
